Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains when an order placed with Core-TCG may be cancelled, changed, or refunded before shipment.

By placing an order through our store, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to this Cancellation Policy, together with our applicable Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

We recommend reviewing your order carefully, including the product, quantity, shipping address, and whether an item is listed as a pre-order, before completing your purchase.

1. In-Stock Orders

Orders containing in-stock products may be eligible for cancellation if a cancellation request is submitted within 12 hours of purchase and fulfillment has not yet begun.

A cancellation may no longer be possible if:

  • The order has entered processing or fulfillment;

  • The order has been packed or prepared for shipment;

  • A shipping label or tracking number has been generated;

  • The order has been transferred to a fulfillment or logistics partner; or

  • The order has already been dispatched.

To request a cancellation, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible and include your order number and the email address used to place the order.

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically mean that the order has been cancelled. A cancellation is only confirmed once you have received confirmation from Core-TCG.

Because we aim to process orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that an in-stock order can be cancelled after it has been placed.

2. Pre-Orders & Upcoming Releases

Important Pre-Order Terms

Pre-orders for Pokémon Trading Card Game, One Piece Card Game, and other upcoming or specially allocated trading card products are final and non-cancellable, except where cancellation or another remedy is required by applicable law.

Pre-order inventory is ordered, allocated, or reserved based on confirmed customer purchases. Your order may therefore form part of the quantity Core-TCG commits to purchasing from a supplier or distributor.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Pre-orders cannot ordinarily be cancelled after purchase;

  • Pre-order quantities and products cannot ordinarily be changed after an order has been confirmed;

  • Payment may be collected at the time the pre-order is placed;

  • Inventory may be specifically reserved or allocated for your order;

  • Product release and availability dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise;

  • Manufacturers, publishers, distributors, suppliers, carriers, or other third parties may change release or delivery schedules;

  • A change or delay to an estimated release date does not automatically entitle an order to cancellation, except where required by applicable law; and

  • Products will be dispatched in accordance with their availability and our Shipping Policy.

Please make sure you are comfortable waiting for the applicable product release and fulfillment period before placing a pre-order.

3. Release Dates & Supplier Delays

Release dates displayed on our website are based on information available to Core-TCG from manufacturers, publishers, suppliers, and distributors.

Although we make reasonable efforts to keep release information accurate, release dates may be postponed, brought forward, or otherwise changed for reasons outside our control.

Possible causes include manufacturer delays, distributor allocation changes, production delays, customs procedures, transportation disruptions, regional release differences, and other supply-chain circumstances.

Where a release date changes, Core-TCG will fulfill affected orders as soon as the applicable inventory becomes available to us.

Any statutory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

4. Mixed Orders

If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, the pre-order portion remains subject to the pre-order terms above.

Depending on the shipping method and fulfillment arrangement, products within the same order may be shipped together or separately.

Cancellation of an eligible in-stock item does not automatically cancel any pre-order items included in the same order.

5. Orders in Processing

Once an order enters fulfillment, we may no longer be able to stop or modify it.

Fulfillment may begin before a customer receives a shipping confirmation email. The absence of a shipping confirmation or tracking update therefore does not necessarily mean that an order remains eligible for cancellation.

If we are unable to stop an eligible order before shipment, you may be able to return qualifying products after delivery in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Orders Already Shipped

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.

If you no longer wish to keep an eligible product, please wait until the shipment has been delivered and follow the return procedure set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Products must meet all applicable return requirements to qualify for a return or refund.

Original shipping charges and other delivery-related costs may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Shipping Address Changes

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

If you notice an error, contact Core-TCG immediately.

We may be able to update an address if fulfillment has not yet begun. However, we cannot guarantee an address change once an order has entered processing, a shipping label has been generated, or the shipment has been transferred to a carrier or logistics provider.

Core-TCG is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, subject to applicable law.

8. Order Changes

Requests to change products, quantities, variants, or other order details are treated separately from cancellation requests.

Once an order has been confirmed, changes are not guaranteed.

Pre-order products generally cannot be exchanged for another product or removed from an existing pre-order.

Where a change cannot be made, the original order will remain valid unless cancellation is otherwise permitted under this Policy or required by applicable law.

9. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification

To protect our customers, payment partners, and business, Core-TCG may conduct fraud-prevention and order-verification checks.

We reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to:

  • Request additional information to verify an order;

  • Verify billing, shipping, or payment information;

  • Temporarily place an order on hold while verification is completed;

  • Limit or refuse transactions that present a significant fraud or security risk; and

  • Cancel orders where we reasonably believe unauthorized, fraudulent, or abusive activity has occurred.

If Core-TCG cancels an order and payment has already been collected, any amount properly due for refund will be returned to the original payment method.

10. Refunds for Approved Cancellations

If Core-TCG approves an eligible cancellation, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method.

After a refund has been processed by us, it may take approximately 3–7 business days to appear in your account. Actual processing times depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, and country.

Core-TCG does not control processing times imposed by third-party financial institutions.

11. Core-TCG Cancellation Rights

Core-TCG may cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving:

  • Pricing or listing errors;

  • Payment authorization failures;

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity;

  • Incorrect inventory information;

  • Supplier or distributor inability to fulfill an allocation;

  • Product discontinuation;

  • Restrictions preventing lawful shipment to the destination; or

  • Other circumstances that make fulfillment impossible or commercially impracticable.

If we cancel an order for which payment has already been collected, we will provide any refund due in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation.

12. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Depending on your country or region, mandatory consumer-protection laws may provide additional cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other rights.

Where mandatory applicable law conflicts with any provision of this Policy, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.
