At Core-TCG, we believe collectors should be able to shop with confidence, knowing that pricing is clear, competitive, and communicated honestly.

As a U.S.-based trading card company established in 2013, we have built our business around serving collectors and players with authentic products, transparent pricing, and access to both new releases and sought-after trading card products.

Our goal is straightforward: offer competitive prices without sacrificing authenticity, service, or reliability.

Our Commitment to Fair Pricing

We understand that pricing within the trading card market can change quickly, particularly around highly anticipated releases, limited allocations, restocks, and discontinued products.

Core-TCG is committed to maintaining a responsible and transparent pricing approach.

Whenever commercially possible, we aim to:

  • Offer new releases at or close to their applicable suggested retail pricing;

  • Keep pricing competitive with the broader retail market;

  • Clearly display the price customers will pay before checkout;

  • Avoid hidden product-price increases after an order has been confirmed;

  • Provide fair access to highly allocated releases; and

  • Maintain a sustainable pricing structure that allows us to continue serving collectors worldwide.

We believe customers should know exactly what they are purchasing and what they are paying before completing an order.

MSRP & Retail Pricing

For newly released products, Core-TCG aims to remain as close as reasonably possible to the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) or other applicable suggested retail pricing.

However, MSRP is a suggested price and may not always reflect our actual acquisition cost or the availability of a particular product.

Pricing may differ from MSRP when products are:

  • Highly allocated;

  • Imported or internationally sourced;

  • Discontinued or out of print;

  • Obtained through restocks at different supplier costs;

  • Subject to significant supply limitations;

  • Available only through secondary distribution channels; or

  • Affected by additional sourcing, logistics, currency, or distribution costs.

For these products, Core-TCG may price items according to acquisition cost, availability, demand, and current market conditions.

Our commitment is not that every product will always be sold at MSRP. Our commitment is to provide clear and transparent pricing before you purchase.

High-Demand & Limited Products

Trading card releases can experience significant demand, particularly for limited-edition products, Pokémon Center products, special collections, anniversary releases, and highly allocated Pokémon TCG and One Piece Card Game products.

When demand significantly exceeds available inventory, Core-TCG may introduce purchase limits or other allocation measures.

These may include:

  • Per-customer purchase limits;

  • Per-household or per-address limits;

  • Maximum pre-order quantities;

  • Temporary limits during product launches; and

  • Additional restrictions for exceptionally limited releases.

Limits may vary by product and may be adjusted depending on the inventory allocated to us.

Where appropriate, orders that intentionally circumvent published purchase limits may be reviewed, reduced, or cancelled.

These measures are designed to give more customers a reasonable opportunity to purchase limited products.

Transparent Pricing

The current selling price of a product will be displayed on the applicable product page.

Before completing checkout, customers will have the opportunity to review the product price and any applicable shipping charges, taxes, duties, or other charges presented during checkout.

We do not intentionally advertise one product price and then increase that product's confirmed purchase price after an order has been successfully placed.

The price confirmed when your order is completed is generally the price applicable to that order, subject to circumstances such as obvious pricing errors, payment issues, fraud, or other exceptions permitted by our Terms of Service and applicable law.

Pre-Order Price Protection

When you successfully place a pre-order with Core-TCG, the product price confirmed at checkout is generally locked in for that order.

This means that if the listed price of the product subsequently increases because of demand, allocation, supplier costs, or market conditions, we will not ordinarily increase the price of your already-confirmed order.

You receive the product at the price confirmed when your order was placed, subject to our Terms of Service and any circumstances involving clear pricing or listing errors.

Please note that a later reduction in the selling price does not automatically entitle previously placed orders to a partial refund or price adjustment unless Core-TCG expressly offers such an adjustment.

Why Prices May Change

Trading card prices can change over time, and the price of an item currently listed on Core-TCG may be different from a previous or future selling price.

Factors that can affect pricing include:

  • Manufacturer or distributor price changes;

  • Supplier acquisition costs;

  • Product availability;

  • Distributor allocations;

  • Import and transportation expenses;

  • Currency exchange rates;

  • Regional pricing differences;

  • Restock acquisition costs;

  • Demand and market conditions; and

  • Whether a product is discontinued or out of print.

Any adjustment to the current selling price of a product does not ordinarily affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Restocks & Older Products

Restocked, discontinued, limited, or older trading card products may not be available to Core-TCG at their original wholesale or retail cost.

For this reason, products obtained after their original release may be offered at a price above their historical MSRP.

We believe transparency is more important than making unrealistic promises about pricing. Customers will always be able to review the current selling price before deciding whether to purchase.

Authenticity Comes First

Fair pricing means little without confidence in the products being purchased.

Core-TCG is committed to offering authentic trading card products sourced through suppliers and distribution channels we consider reliable.

We do not knowingly sell counterfeit trading card products.

Products are represented as accurately as reasonably possible, and important information regarding language, edition, condition, pre-order status, or other relevant characteristics will be displayed on the applicable product page where appropriate.

No Hidden Price Changes

Once an order has been successfully confirmed, we will not ordinarily ask a customer to pay more simply because the market value of the product subsequently increases.

Likewise, changes in secondary-market prices after purchase do not alter the agreed purchase price.

This provides customers with greater certainty when ordering high-demand releases and pre-order products.

Pricing Errors

While we take reasonable care to ensure that pricing information is accurate, occasional technical, typographical, or administrative errors may occur.

If a product is accidentally listed at an obviously incorrect price, Core-TCG reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to correct the error and cancel or contact the customer regarding the affected order.

If an affected order is cancelled after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
