Welcome to Core-TCG.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Core-TCG website, online store, products, features, content, customer services, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Core-TCG is a U.S.-based trading card company established in 2013.

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform and technology that enable us to offer our Services.

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, making a purchase, submitting information, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the policies incorporated into them by reference, including our:

By using the Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Services with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.

You may not use our Services for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

2. Account Information & Responsibility

Certain features of our Services may allow or require you to create an account.

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete.

  • Email address;

  • Billing address;

  • Shipping address;

  • Telephone number;

  • Account credentials; and

  • Other information reasonably required to provide the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

You are also responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Accounts may not be sold, transferred, rented, or assigned to another person without our prior written authorization.

3. Products & Product Information

Core-TCG specializes in trading card products, including products from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, One Piece Card Game, and other collectible product categories we may offer.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, availability information, and release information.

However, product information may occasionally contain inaccuracies or may change due to circumstances outside our control.

For example:

  • Product packaging may change;

  • Manufacturer images may differ from the final retail product;

  • Colors may display differently depending on the customer's device;

  • Product specifications may be updated by manufacturers or distributors;

  • Release dates may change;

  • Promotional artwork may differ from the final product; and

  • Minor packaging variations may occur between production runs or regions.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, product images may be for illustrative purposes.

4. Authenticity

Core-TCG stands behind the authenticity of the products we sell.

We do not knowingly sell counterfeit, fake, unauthorized, or imitation trading card products.

Products represented as new and factory sealed are intended to be supplied in original manufacturer packaging where applicable.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your shopping cart does not reserve inventory.

Core-TCG may, where reasonably necessary and permitted by law:

  • Limit quantities;

  • Restrict sales of highly allocated products;

  • Limit products per customer, household, payment method, or address;

  • Discontinue products;

  • Correct inventory errors; or

  • Restrict purchases in specific regions.

Inventory availability may change before an order is accepted.

6. Orders

Placing an order through Core-TCG constitutes an offer to purchase the products contained in your order.

Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted in all circumstances.

Core-TCG may review orders for:

  • Payment authorization;

  • Inventory availability;

  • Fraud prevention;

  • Pricing accuracy;

  • Purchase-limit compliance;

  • Shipping restrictions; and

  • Other operational or legal requirements.

We reserve the right, where permitted by law, to refuse, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary.

Examples may include:

  • Suspected fraud;

  • Unauthorized payment activity;

  • Pricing errors;

  • Inventory errors;

  • Purchase-limit circumvention;

  • Shipping restrictions;

  • Payment authorization failure; or

  • Products becoming unavailable.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, any refund properly due will be issued in accordance with applicable law and our policies.

7. Pre-Orders

Core-TCG may offer products for purchase before their official release or before inventory arrives at our fulfillment location.

These products are identified as pre-orders or presale products.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that:

  • The product is not immediately available for standard shipment;

  • Release dates and availability dates may be estimates;

  • Manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors may change release schedules;

  • Inventory may be allocated or reserved based on confirmed pre-orders;

  • Delays can occur due to production, distribution, customs, logistics, or other external circumstances; and

  • Pre-orders are subject to our Cancellation Policy.

Pre-orders may be final and non-cancellable where clearly disclosed, except where cancellation or another remedy is required by applicable law.

8. Restock Products

Some products offered by Core-TCG may be identified as upcoming restocks.

Estimated restock dates may be based on supplier or distributor information and may change.

A restock estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Where a restock product is treated as a special allocation or reserved purchase, additional cancellation restrictions may be disclosed on the applicable product page or in our Cancellation Policy.

9. Pricing

Prices displayed on our website may change at any time before an order is placed.

Product pricing can be influenced by factors such as:

  • Manufacturer pricing;

  • Distributor costs;

  • Supplier costs;

  • Currency exchange rates;

  • Product availability;

  • Import costs;

  • Allocation;

  • Restock pricing; and

  • Market conditions.

The applicable product price is generally the price displayed and confirmed when the order is successfully placed, subject to obvious pricing errors or other circumstances described in these Terms.

10. Pricing Errors

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain accurate pricing, occasional technical, typographical, administrative, or system errors may occur.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, Core-TCG may, where permitted by law:

  • Correct the price;

  • Contact the customer for instructions; or

  • Cancel the affected order.

If payment has already been collected and the order is cancelled because of a pricing error, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

11. Payments

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

By submitting an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payments may be processed by Shopify, payment processors, card networks, digital-wallet providers, banks, or other financial-service providers.

Core-TCG may receive transaction and authorization information but may not directly store all payment-card information.

A transaction may be declined, delayed, or reviewed by payment providers or fraud-prevention systems.

Core-TCG is not responsible for a payment provider's independent decision to approve, decline, or delay a transaction.

12. Taxes, Customs & Import Charges

Depending on your shipping destination, orders may be subject to:

  • Sales tax;

  • Value-added tax;

  • Customs duties;

  • Import taxes;

  • Brokerage fees;

  • Carrier fees; or

  • Other government-imposed charges.

Where such charges are collected at checkout, they will be displayed where applicable.

Where charges are not collected in advance, the customer may be responsible for paying them to the relevant authority, customs agency, carrier, or service provider, unless otherwise stated.

Customers are responsible for understanding applicable import requirements in their destination country.

13. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Carrier delays;

  • Customs processing;

  • Weather;

  • Transportation disruptions;

  • Incorrect addresses;

  • High-volume release periods;

  • Customs inspections;

  • Local delivery conditions;

  • Supplier delays; and

  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

14. Risk of Loss & Consumer Rights

Responsibility for loss or damage during shipment may depend on the shipping method, destination, carrier arrangements, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to transfer shipping risk to the customer earlier than permitted by applicable consumer-protection law.

Where applicable law requires Core-TCG to remain responsible for goods until delivery, those legal requirements will apply.

15. Tracking Information

Where tracking is available, customers may receive tracking details after a shipment has been prepared.

The creation of a shipping label or tracking number does not always mean that the package has already been physically collected by the carrier.

Tracking updates are generated by third-party carriers and may occasionally be delayed or inaccurate.

16. Cancellations

Cancellation eligibility is governed by our Cancellation Policy.

In-stock products may be eligible for cancellation only within the applicable cancellation period and before fulfillment begins.

Pre-orders and specially allocated products may be non-cancellable where clearly disclosed, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Because trading card products can lose value once opened or unsealed, opened, tampered, searched, altered, or unsealed collectible products are generally not eligible for standard returns.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory statutory rights that may apply to defective, incorrect, or non-conforming products.

18. Randomized Trading Card Products

Many trading card products contain randomized contents.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Core-TCG does not guarantee:

  • Specific cards;

  • Particular rarities;

  • Pull rates;

  • Card values;

  • Specific artwork;

  • Specific insert cards; or

  • Particular outcomes from booster packs, booster boxes, or other randomized products.

The market value of cards or sealed products may increase or decrease after purchase.

Core-TCG does not guarantee future resale value, collectible value, investment performance, or secondary-market pricing.

19. Manufacturer Defects

Core-TCG sells sealed products manufactured by third parties.

Issues such as:

  • Misprints;

  • Missing cards;

  • Printing defects;

  • Incorrect collation;

  • Damaged cards inside sealed products;

  • Manufacturer packaging defects; or

  • Other factory errors

may be the responsibility of the applicable manufacturer or publisher.

Where appropriate, Core-TCG may direct customers to the relevant manufacturer for assistance.

20. Purchase Limits & Fair Access

Core-TCG may impose purchase limits on highly demanded or limited products.

Limits may apply per:

  • Customer;

  • Household;

  • Address;

  • Payment method;

  • Account; or

  • Order.

We may cancel, reduce, or combine orders where we reasonably determine that a customer has attempted to circumvent published limits.

These restrictions are intended to improve availability for more customers.

21. Fraud Prevention

Core-TCG may use fraud-prevention tools and order-verification procedures.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify an order.

We may delay, hold, limit, or cancel transactions that present a significant fraud or security concern, subject to applicable law.

Attempting to place orders using unauthorized payment information, false identities, manipulated addresses, or other fraudulent methods is prohibited.

22. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you experience an issue with an order, we encourage you to contact Core-TCG first so we have an opportunity to investigate the matter.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, Core-TCG may provide relevant evidence to payment processors, financial institutions, card networks, or dispute providers.

This may include:

  • Order confirmations;

  • Transaction records;

  • Tracking information;

  • Delivery records;

  • Store policies;

  • Customer communications; and

  • Other relevant documentation.

Nothing in this section restricts rights available to customers under applicable payment or consumer-protection law.

23. Customer Reviews & User Content

Our Services may allow customers to submit reviews, comments, photographs, feedback, suggestions, or other content.

By submitting content, you represent that:

  • You have the legal right to submit it;

  • It does not violate another person's intellectual-property rights;

  • It is not knowingly false, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful;

  • It does not contain malicious software or harmful content; and

  • It does not violate applicable law.

By voluntarily submitting content for publication, you grant Core-TCG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, publish, and distribute that content for purposes connected with operating, promoting, and improving our Services, subject to applicable privacy law.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

24. Intellectual Property

The Core-TCG website and its original content, branding, layout, graphics, text, functionality, and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws.

Unless otherwise stated, Core-TCG or its licensors own or are authorized to use the relevant intellectual-property rights.

You may not, without prior authorization:

  • Reproduce our original website content for commercial purposes;

  • Copy Core-TCG branding;

  • Misrepresent yourself as Core-TCG;

  • Create confusingly similar storefronts;

  • Use our original content in a way that infringes applicable rights; or

  • Exploit the Services for unauthorized commercial purposes.

Third-party product names, trademarks, logos, artwork, and brands remain the property of their respective owners.

Core-TCG is not claiming ownership of third-party intellectual property displayed in connection with the sale of genuine products.

These third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Core-TCG does not control all third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, security, accuracy, or performance.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate agreements between you and the applicable provider.

Core-TCG is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, accuracy, or availability of independent third-party websites.

27. Shopify

Core-TCG uses Shopify technology to operate our online store.

Your purchases are made from Core-TCG, not Shopify, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Shopify provides technology, hosting, payment-related functionality, and other e-commerce services.

Shopify's handling of personal information and certain platform activities is governed by its own applicable terms and privacy notices.

28. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed by Core-TCG, Shopify, and relevant service providers as necessary to operate the Services, process transactions, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and fulfill orders.

29. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to engage in conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or disruptive.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Payment fraud;

  • Identity fraud;

  • Unauthorized access;

  • Introducing malware or harmful code;

  • Interfering with website security;

  • Automated scraping that violates applicable law or our rights;

  • Circumventing purchase limits;

  • Impersonating Core-TCG;

  • Harassing employees or customers;

  • Submitting knowingly fraudulent claims;

  • Exploiting technical vulnerabilities; or

  • Using the Services in violation of applicable law.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been materially violated.

30. Service Availability

We aim to keep our Services available and functioning reliably.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance;

  • Software updates;

  • Technical failures;

  • Cybersecurity issues;

  • Shopify downtime;

  • Third-party outages;

  • Network failures; or

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

31. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis.

Core-TCG does not warrant that:

  • The website will always be uninterrupted;

  • All website content will always be error-free;

  • Every third-party service will remain continuously available; or

  • Products containing randomized contents will produce any particular result.

However, nothing in this section limits warranties, guarantees, consumer protections, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

32. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Core-TCG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Services where such damages may lawfully be excluded.

This may include losses resulting from:

  • Website interruption;

  • Loss of data;

  • Secondary-market price changes;

  • Missed resale opportunities;

  • Lost profits;

  • Third-party service failures; or

  • Other indirect commercial losses.

Core-TCG does not exclude or limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

33. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core-TCG and its affiliates, officers, employees, service providers, and agents from third-party claims arising directly from:

  • Your unlawful use of the Services;

  • Your material violation of these Terms;

  • Your infringement of third-party rights; or

  • Fraudulent or malicious conduct committed by you.

This provision does not require consumers to indemnify Core-TCG for matters caused by Core-TCG's own unlawful conduct.

34. Suspension & Termination

Core-TCG may suspend or terminate access to certain Services where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • Fraud is suspected;

  • Security is threatened;

  • These Terms are materially violated;

  • The Services are abused; or

  • Applicable law requires restriction.

Termination does not affect obligations or rights that arose before termination.

Provisions that by their nature are intended to survive termination will remain effective.

35. Force Majeure

Core-TCG will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

These events may include:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • War;

  • Civil unrest;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Labor disputes;

  • Transportation interruptions;

  • Customs disruptions;

  • Pandemics;

  • Carrier failures;

  • Supplier disruptions;

  • Cyber incidents;

  • Power failures; or

  • Other comparable events beyond our reasonable control.

This provision does not remove statutory remedies that may apply to consumers.

36. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

37. No Waiver

Failure by Core-TCG to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.

38. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with policies and terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases made through Core-TCG, subject to any additional mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

39. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes to our business;

  • Changes to our Services;

  • Operational requirements;

  • New products or features;

  • Legal or regulatory developments; or

  • Changes to service providers.

The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised Last Updated date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law provides otherwise.

40. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Core-TCG and the applicable transaction, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that may apply based on the customer's place of residence.

Where mandatory consumer law gives a customer the right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove that right.

Because Core-TCG serves customers internationally, jurisdiction and applicable consumer rights may vary.

41. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, waive, or override statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Customers in certain jurisdictions, including the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, may benefit from mandatory consumer-protection rules in addition to the rights described in these Terms.

Where mandatory applicable law conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.
